iniBuilds A380 Paint Kit v1.0.0
For the iniBuilds A380 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

PAINT KIT INSTRUCTIONS & NOTES
======================================================================

1. TEXTURE RESOLUTION AND UV LAYOUT

Use the supplied 2K texture resolution as the standard for your livery.
The aircraft's UV layout is optimised for 2K textures. Due to the size of
the A380, its surfaces are split across multiple texture tiles.

To paint across tile boundaries more easily, import the supplied FBX
model into Substance Painter and create a project using UDIM tiles.

Upscaling textures significantly increases VRAM usage and may reduce
performance. If you distribute a livery with upscaled textures, clearly
state this on the download page. Include the following notice:

"This livery uses textures upscaled from the aircraft's original 2K
specification. Higher-resolution textures increase VRAM usage and may
result in performance below the levels advertised for the aircraft."

2. FUSELAGE, BELLY AND TAIL

Use the separate master files for the fuselage, belly and tail to reduce
memory usage, particularly on lower-specification computers.

If your system has sufficient resources, you may combine these master
files into a single working file to make painting easier.

3. ENGINES

Identify the engine by the final digit of the numeric section in the
texture set name. For example, A380_GP_1001_ALBD is for Engine 1.

The four engines share largely the same UV layout, with minor differences
between the reverser layouts for Engines 1/2 and Engines 3/4. You can copy
most painted elements between engines, but check their alignment on each
engine before exporting.

Retain the engine-specific details in each texture set. These account for
differences in vane positions and the absence of thrust reversers on
Engines 1 and 4.

Export all four engine texture sets separately, even when the painted
design is identical. Do not use one exported texture set as a replacement
for all four engines.

4. UNDERWING REGISTRATIONS

Use the supplied wing registration file to create underwing registration
markings. This separate file accommodates the scale of the wing and
allows registrations to be painted independently of the main wing
textures.

5. PLACARDS

Use the placards file for the engine and fuselage placards.

When exporting, use the containing folder's name as the texture filename,
with the appropriate file extension.

PAINT KIT END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA)
======================================================================

1. AGREEMENT AND SCOPE

This agreement is between iniBuilds Ltd. ("iniBuilds") and the person or
organisation using the materials ("you"). Read these terms before using
the paint kit or exercising the repaint permissions granted below. By
doing so, you accept this agreement. If you do not accept it, do not use
the paint kit or exercise those permissions.

"Aircraft" means the iniBuilds A380 Airliner DLC for Microsoft Flight
Simulator 2024.

"Materials" means all files supplied with this paint kit, including its
textures, layered source files, templates, UV layouts, reference assets
and FBX model, together with any textures included with the Aircraft,
whether or not those textures also appear in the paint kit.

"Repaint" means a livery, paint scheme, texture modification or other
texture-based work that incorporates, modifies or is derived from any
of the Materials, in whole or in part.

2. PERMITTED USE

Subject to this agreement, iniBuilds grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable licence to use and modify the Materials to create
Repaints exclusively for the Aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

You may use these Repaints personally and distribute completed Repaints
free of charge, subject to the distribution requirements below. You and
any recipients must hold valid licences for the Aircraft and simulator
when using the Repaints. This paint kit does not grant either licence.

You may make working and backup copies of the Materials for the purposes
permitted by this agreement.

3. NO PAID REPAINTS OR COMMERCIAL USE

You must not sell, license for a fee, or otherwise charge money or receive
other compensation for creating, supplying or granting access to any
Repaint made using the Materials.

This restriction applies to textures from both this paint kit and the
main Aircraft DLC, including textures used without modification and
textures that have been edited, upscaled, converted or combined with
your own artwork.

Prohibited arrangements include:

- Paid or commissioned Repaints, including private commissions.
- Fees described as payment for time, labour, services, customisation,
conversion or delivery rather than for the Repaint itself.
- Repaints offered through paid memberships, subscriptions or paywalls.
- Paid early access, even if the Repaint is later released for free.
- Repaints bundled with a paid product or service, or offered as a
purchase incentive or paid membership benefit.
- Required donations, minimum payments or contributions that unlock a
Repaint, a requested design, an update or preferential access.

Voluntary donations are permitted only where the Repaint and its updates
remain freely available to everyone on the same terms. A donation must
not be a condition of creation, delivery, access or support, or a
disguised commission fee.

Any exception to this section requires prior written authorisation from
iniBuilds that specifically permits the proposed commercial use.

4. DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS

Distribute only your completed Repaint textures and the supporting files
needed to install and use that Repaint. Supplied texture content may be
included only as part of those completed Repaint textures to the extent
necessary for the Repaint to function.

Do not redistribute the paint kit itself, its layered source files,
templates, UV layouts, FBX model or other source assets, whether in their
original form or as modified source files. Do not distribute the Aircraft
package or unrelated Aircraft files, or release the Materials as a
standalone texture collection, asset library or alternative paint kit.

Where an unchanged texture can be referenced from the installed Aircraft,
use that reference instead of including another copy in your download.

Include a copy of this EULA with each distributed Repaint and include the
following credit in its documentation or download description:

"Created using the iniBuilds A380 Paint Kit and/or Aircraft textures.
Original assets remain the property of iniBuilds Ltd. and/or their
respective licensors. Requires the iniBuilds A380 Airliner for Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2024. Freeware only; commercial use is prohibited."

Do not impose terms that grant recipients rights over the Materials
beyond those provided by this agreement. Do not claim that a Repaint is
an official iniBuilds release or is endorsed by iniBuilds without written
authorisation.

5. OWNERSHIP AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

The Materials are licensed, not sold. Ownership of the Materials and all
associated intellectual property rights remains with iniBuilds and/or
their respective licensors. All rights not expressly granted are
reserved.

You retain any rights you hold in your original artwork and additions.
Those rights do not transfer ownership of the underlying Materials or
remove the restrictions that apply to a Repaint containing them.

Do not remove or misrepresent copyright, trademark or ownership notices.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed for third-party
logos, airline branding, artwork or other content you add. This agreement
does not grant rights to third-party trademarks or branding.

Do not reuse the Materials in other aircraft, simulators, games or
standalone products without prior written authorisation from iniBuilds.

6. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the paint kit is provided
"as is" and "as available", without warranties of satisfactory quality,
fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted or error-free use.
Compatibility with every editing application, system configuration or
future Aircraft or simulator update is not guaranteed.

Back up your working files and test your Repaints before distribution.
iniBuilds is not responsible for supporting third-party Repaints.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, iniBuilds will not be liable
for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the paint kit,
including loss of data or profits. Nothing in this agreement excludes or
limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence,
or any other liability or statutory consumer right that cannot lawfully
be excluded or limited.

7. TERMINATION

iniBuilds may terminate the permissions granted by this agreement by
notice to you if you breach its terms. On termination, stop using the
Materials under this agreement, stop distributing affected Repaints,
remove downloads under your control and delete your copies of the paint
kit and its source assets, except where retention is required by law.

Termination of these repaint permissions does not itself terminate any
separate, valid licence you hold to use the Aircraft. The ownership,
commercial-use restrictions and liability provisions survive termination
to the extent applicable.

8. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER TERMS

This agreement supplements the Aircraft EULA. For the limited purpose of
creating and distributing Repaints, the permissions expressly granted
here take precedence over general restrictions on modifying or
redistributing the Materials in iniBuilds' standard terms. All other
Aircraft licence terms remain in effect.

Nothing in this agreement authorises bypassing copy protection, sharing
the Aircraft itself or using files obtained without authorisation.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain
effective to the extent permitted by law. Any waiver or additional
permission must be confirmed in writing by iniBuilds.

For licensing enquiries or written permissions, contact iniBuilds through
the official iniBuilds website (iniBuilds.com)
